[Reference Roles]
 defines the Warden — his face, grey skin, black war-robe, brass gauntlet, iron circlet and the tall staff with the red crystal head. Do not use its white background, its multi-view layout, or its neutral standing pose.
 defines the Priestess — her face, black hair and grey-white robe with the crimson sash. Do not use its white background, its multi-view layout, or its neutral standing pose.
 defines the King — his face, his crystal-encased body and the throne he is fused to. Do not use its white background or its panel layout.
 defines the temple hall — the hand-carved dark rock, the red crystal veins in the walls and pillars, the processional floor and the throne steps. Do not use it as a static photograph; the camera lives inside this space.
 defines the circular arena field — the flagstone disc, the ringed wall, the two facing broken gate arches and the sea of cloud beyond. Do not use it as a static photograph.
 defines the visual types of the horde — their builds, skin tones, rags, scavenged armour and weapons. It is a type sheet only: do not reproduce its white background or its row layout, and do not treat it as exactly five individuals.
Never render a reference sheet, a grid, or a duplicate of any subject.

[Generation Goal]
A live-action fantasy film sequence. A grey-skinned sorcerer-guard receives an order in a mountain temple, vanishes, and lands alone in the middle of a horde on a stone arena above the clouds, where he destroys them with two sweeping attacks and opens a stairway beneath the field. Cold desaturated grey world; deep blood-red crystal is the only strong colour until the very last shot. Handheld camera in the temple, wide cinematic camera on the field.

[Stage 1 | 0-5 seconds]
Initial state: the temple hall. The King sits fused to his throne at the top of the steps, red crystal grown up over his chest and throat, motionless, eyes closed. The Priestess kneels beside him with her bare right palm laid flat on the crystal over his chest. Her left hand rests on her own knee.
Primary event: the camera pushes in slowly from a low angle. She lifts her head and looks off-camera to her left and speaks.
Dialogue language: English. The Priestess says in a low, urgent, controlled voice: {The crystal is killing him. Days. Not weeks.}
End state: her palm stays on the crystal, her head is up, she is looking off-camera.

[Stage 2 | 5-8 seconds]
Hard cut to a reverse angle at the bottom of the steps. The Warden stands in shadow, his left hand gripping the staff planted vertically beside him, the red crystal in its head lighting his jaw and throat from below. His right hand hangs at his side.
Primary event: the camera pushes in on him. He answers without moving his body.
Dialogue language: English. The Warden says in a flat, quiet, gravelled voice: {Where do I go?}
End state: he is still, staff planted, eyes level.

[Stage 3 | 8-13 seconds]
Cut back to the Priestess. She rises to her feet, takes her hand off the King and turns toward the great doors at the far end of the hall.
Primary event: she speaks and lifts her chin toward the doors.
Dialogue language: English. The Priestess says clearly and steadily: {Beneath the ring, above the clouds. Bring back the thing that does not shine.}
End state: she stands facing the doors, hands empty at her sides.

[Stage 4 | 13-16 seconds]
The camera settles behind the Priestess's right shoulder and stays there for this whole stage; she remains in the near foreground, out of focus.
Primary event: the Warden walks away from camera down the processional floor toward the open doors, staff in his left hand. He speaks without turning his head. At 15 seconds, the instant he crosses the doorway, he vanishes completely — one streak of red afterimage hangs in the doorway for a fraction of a second and goes out, and the dust in the air snaps inward toward the empty space where he was.
Dialogue language: English. The Warden says quietly, almost to himself, as he walks away: {A fine day to die.}
End state: the doorway is empty. The Priestess is still standing in the foreground with her back to camera.

[Stage 5 | 16-19 seconds]
Hard cut. Extreme wide high-angle shot of the circular arena field above the cloud sea. The entire flagstone disc is packed with well over a hundred bodies of the horde, shoulder to shoulder, restless and shifting, spilling in through both broken gate arches so that almost no bare stone is visible. They are all of one ashen-skinned people but vary enormously — small wiry ones, squat thick-set ones with shields and spears, lean long-armed ones with crude bows, heavy brutes with chains wound on their forearms, and a few towering giants a head and a half above the rest. Vary their faces, heights, skin tones, rags and weapons so they read as a real crowd; do not repeat one face across the crowd.
Primary event: a single dark figure drops out of the sky at the top of frame. The camera dives down after him at speed. He slams knee-first into the exact centre of the field. On impact the flagstones split outward in a radiating pattern from his knee and a ring of dust blasts out across the field, throwing dozens of nearby bodies off their feet and tumbling them backward. He rises slowly out of the dust, staff planted in his left hand.
End state: the Warden stands alone at the centre of a small cleared circle, the horde packed all around him beyond it.

[Stage 6 | 19-21 seconds]
Primary event: a low angle from just in front of him as the dust drifts past. He looks around at the packed field once and speaks.
Dialogue language: English. The Warden says flatly, almost bored: {It's time to feed the clouds.}
End state: he lowers his gaze and shifts his grip on the staff.

[Stage 7 | 21-25 seconds]
No dialogue in this stage. Primary event: he drives the foot of the staff straight down into the stone. Enormous blood-red crystal spears erupt up through the flagstones in a radiating wave outward from him, breaking through the ground in sequence and racing all the way to the ringed wall. The front ranks are thrown into the air as the wave passes under them. The camera drops to ground level and races backward ahead of the expanding wave.
End state: the whole field is bristling with red crystal spears; bodies are down everywhere between them.

[Stage 8 | 25-28 seconds]
No dialogue in this stage. Primary event: he swings the staff in one full circle above his head. Every crystal spear on the field shatters at once and a huge red shockwave sweeps outward along the ground, scouring the remaining bodies off the flagstones and hurling them over the ringed wall out into the open cloud. The camera cranes up to a high wide angle and holds the whole disc in one frame as it empties.
End state: the field is bare, cracked stone. Red crystal dust settles. The Warden is the only one standing.

[Stage 9 | 28-30 seconds]
No dialogue in this stage. Primary event: silence. He walks to the low circular dais at dead centre and drives the staff foot into it. The radiating stone panels crack apart and grind open, revealing a stairway descending into darkness. From below, a faint warm gold light rises and touches his face for the first time. He starts down the steps.
End state: the Warden is descending, gold light on his face from below, the empty field behind him.

[Maintain Consistency]
Keep the Warden, the Priestess and the King as the same continuous individuals throughout — do not blend their faces, duplicate them, or change their clothing. The Warden holds the staff in his left hand in every shot he appears in, and the staff never leaves his hand, disappears, floats or changes shape. The King never moves and never speaks. The world is cold and desaturated — wet grey stone, black iron, white cloud, pale flat daylight — and deep blood-red crystal is the only strong colour anywhere until the gold light in the final stage. There are no torches, no fires, no lamps and no other warm light sources at any point. No object appears, disappears, floats, or morphs into another object.

[Audio]
Diegetic sound only. <Deep stone reverb and slow water drips in the temple hall> <a hard low boom and cracking stone on the landing impact> <the roar and clatter of a huge crowd> <stone splitting and crystal shearing on each attack> <a long wash of wind and total silence after the field empties> <the grinding of heavy stone panels opening>. Dialogue is spoken only by the Priestess and the Warden as specified; no other character speaks and no crowd member speaks any words.

No subtitles, no on-screen text, no logo, no watermark throughout. No background music — keep only diegetic and ambient sound.
