POSEIDON 18

SCENE CONTEXT: an ancient round stone fighting arena at night under a full moon, bone dry. THE EMPRESS kneels alone and unarmed at the centre of the floor on the first frame. Six giant warriors close in to kill her. She awakens: a cold blue-green deep-sea glow spreads through the cracks of the stone and the fine creases of her skin, and the dry air of the arena begins to behave like the bottom of the ocean. No water is visible until the last shot, yet hair and cloth float, dust hangs suspended, the giants are dragged and slowed as if wading through deep water, and when they shout, bubbles burst from their mouths. Only she moves freely. At the end the invisible sea turns into real seawater all at once. Live-action realism, 30 seconds, one location, eleven timed shots, hard cuts on action, real-time playback with no slow-motion camera effect: the giants are slowed by the invisible water, not by the playback.

ACTIVE REFERENCES
@ {{Mixed 1}} defines THE EMPRESS — face, hair, body, bronze diadem, bronze collar, sea-green garment. Not its background, pose or studio light. ADDED: dust on her knees and hands. She carries no spear and no weapon of any kind for the whole clip.
@ {{Mixed 2}} defines THE SIX WARRIORS, one by one, by their place in the line from left to right. Only their faces, bodies, gear and weapons come from this image, not the grey studio, the wooden post or the pose. All six are human men. One change to the reference: they are bigger than in the image — every one of them about THREE METRES tall, massive and heavy, so that THE EMPRESS's head reaches only to their belts.
- First from the left = THE AXE MAN: shaved tattooed head and chest, braided beard, one bronze axe in each hand.
- Second = THE MASK: hooded, face hidden behind a bronze mask, spiked ball on a long chain.
- Third = THE SHIELD: crested bronze helmet, grey beard, bronze scale armour, tall hide-and-bronze shield, short sword.
- Fourth = THE SPEARMAN: horned bronze helmet, long bronze-tipped spear.
- Fifth = THE PELT: a huge human man with a red beard, wearing a brown fur pelt whose dried animal head sits on top of his own head like a hood; bare wrapped hands, no weapon. He is a man, not an animal.
- Sixth = THE LEADER: the biggest of them, armour of black volcanic-glass plates, long black hair. His greatsword is BLACK OBSIDIAN — a glassy black, chipped, sharp-edged blade, not grey metal.
Each warrior keeps his own face, build and gear; no two faces blend.
@ {{Mixed 3}} defines THE PLACE — the round arena: cracked pale stone floor, the curved stone ring wall with its vertical cracks and water stains, the single dark gateway in that wall, the cold unlit braziers, the tiered stands rising into darkness, the moon above them. Geometry, materials and moonlight only. The reference is empty; in our film it holds the people below.

DIALOGUE RULE — FOLLOW EXACTLY. There are exactly THREE spoken lines in this film. Each one is written inside the shot where it happens, spoken there once and nowhere else. Every other shot has no speech; the giants' shouts and roars are muffled sounds, not words. No direction text, even a short phrase set off by a comma or dash, is ever read aloud.
Voices: THE EMPRESS — low, calm, unhurried, utterly certain. THE LEADER — deep, rough, mocking.

LOCATION MAP — HOLDS FOR THE WHOLE CLIP. World anchors: THE GATE (the dark gateway in the ring wall) and THE MOON (above the stands on the far side from the gate). THE EMPRESS is at the dead centre of the floor, her chest toward THE GATE. The giants stoop to come out through THE GATE, then scatter around her at different distances, six to eight metres away, each at his own pace, never in step and never in any formation: THE LEADER straight between her and THE GATE; THE AXE MAN and THE MASK on the gate side; THE SHIELD and THE SPEARMAN together on one flank; THE PELT behind her, on the moon side. RULER: the ring wall is five metres high and the giants' heads reach above its midpoint; the floor is forty metres across. NOBODY EVER FACES, LOOKS AT OR ADDRESSES THE CAMERA; lines are spoken to the other character in a three-quarter view, mouth readable. Screen left and right are worked out fresh for each camera position; the anchors never move.

THE DEEP — FOLLOW EXACTLY. One colour of light exists besides the moon: a cold blue-green glow like living plankton in seawater. It appears only where her water touches — inside the cracks of the stone and inside the fine natural creases of her skin — and travels only along lines that are already there. It never forms shapes, symbols, runes, outlines or floating graphics, and it never lights up her whole body. The "invisible sea" is shown only by physics: hair and cloth drifting upward as underwater, dust and grit hanging in the air, heavy limbs dragging as if through water, bubbles leaving mouths and armour seams, sound muffled for the giants. Every change follows a small visible movement of her hand a fraction of a second before it.

ACTION TIMING
[00.0-02.0] SHOT 1 — Ground level beside her, looking past her kneeling figure toward THE GATE. Her bare palms are flat on the dry cracked stone, head lowered. Six pairs of enormous feet come out of the dark gateway toward her, each a different gait and footwear — bare tattooed shins, wrapped boots, bronze greaves, fur boots — crunching grit, a chain dragging. Only feet and shins. Nobody speaks in this shot.

[02.0-04.5] SHOT 2 — Low angle from her kneeling eye height up at THE LEADER, who has stopped six metres in front of her, towering, THE GATE behind him; the others stand scattered at the edges of the frame, none aligned. His chest is squared to her; he looks down at her, mouth in the centre of the frame, three-quarter view.
THE LEADER, mocking, slow, down at her: {Where is your sea now, queen?}

[04.5-07.0] SHOT 3 — Extreme close-up of her right hand on the stone. A single drop of water wells up from the crack under her fingertip and climbs onto her nail; the instant it touches her, it lights up blue-green from inside, and a thread of that glow runs back along the fine creases of her finger to her wrist. Cut to her face from the leader's side, three-quarter view: she lifts her head and looks up at him.
THE EMPRESS, quiet and certain, up at the leader: {You're standing on it.}

[07.0-09.5] SHOT 4 — Ground-level wide. From under her palm the blue-green glow races outward through every crack in the floor, branching like lightning across the whole arena until it runs under every giant's feet. The giants look down at the lit cracks beneath them. Her hair begins to lift and drift slowly upward as if underwater. Nobody speaks in this shot.

[09.5-12.0] SHOT 5 — Medium shot from the flank. THE AXE MAN rushes her and swings both axes down, but his arms drag heavily as if through deep water, his beard floats, and his shout comes out as a burst of bubbles from his mouth. Still kneeling, her body squared to him, she flicks one finger toward him; both bronze axe heads shatter and the pieces drift. He is thrown back as if by a current and slams into the ring wall, cracking the stone, and stays there. Nobody speaks in this shot.

[12.0-14.5] SHOT 6 — THE AWAKENING, a run of three tight macros on her: the blue-green glow climbing the fine creases of her forearm; across her collarbone to her throat; then her face, hair spread and floating around the bronze diadem like seaweed, as she opens her eyes and the glow reflects in them. She rises to her feet for the first time. Nobody speaks in this shot.

[14.5-17.0] SHOT 7 — Wide shot from behind her shoulder onto THE MASK, THE SHIELD and THE SPEARMAN as they charge at her together; they face her, she faces them. All three flounder as if wading through deep water; the spiked ball on its chain hangs limp and floating in mid-swing. She sweeps one arm across: the suspended dust and bubbles in the air all rush the same way in a visible current that carries the three giants off their feet and slams them into the ring wall behind them. Nobody speaks in this shot.

[17.0-20.0] SHOT 8 — THE PELT lunges at her from the moon side, behind her. Camera from her side, past her shoulder onto him: she turns her whole body to face him. His roar comes out as a huge rush of bubbles. She closes her fist; the pressure of the deep crushes down on him, his bronze fittings buckle, and he folds to his knees and then face-down on the stone. Nobody speaks in this shot.

[20.0-23.0] SHOT 9 — Close-up of THE LEADER's face as he charges her, black obsidian greatsword raised; the lens is just beside her head and he looks past it at her, never into it. He screams; his long hair streams around his head as if underwater and bubbles pour from his open mouth. Nobody speaks in this shot.

[23.0-26.0] SHOT 10 — A macro of the narrow space between their two faces, both large and sharp in one frame, one camera, one image: his face wrapped in rising bubbles, the black obsidian blade drifting to a stop one hand's width from her cheek, and her calm face, the blue-green glow in the creases of her neck, eyes steady on his. She does not blink.
THE EMPRESS, quiet, to him: {Stay down.}

[26.0-30.0] SHOT 11 — Wide shot of the whole arena. She opens her hand. In one instant the invisible sea becomes real seawater: a vast mass of water crashes down and fills the arena, driving THE LEADER to his knees. Then it drains away into the cracks. The six giants lie soaked and still around her; the leader kneels with his broken obsidian sword beside him. The blue-green glow in the cracks goes out line by line. Last image: close on her fingertip as one final drop returns to it, glows once, and goes dark. Nobody speaks in this shot.

PHYSICS. The giants are enormous and heavy: their steps shake grit loose, they land hard and stay down. Bronze shatters into jagged pieces. Inside the invisible sea everything that is not her moves with water drag — slower arcs, floating hair and cloth, drifting debris — while her own movements stay small, precise and effortless. The real water in SHOT 11 has full weight: it crashes, sprays, runs off bodies and drains into the cracks.

LIGHTING. The cold full moon above the far stands is the main light for the whole clip; no lamp, torch or fire is lit. The palette is desaturated cold grey stone and black shadow. The blue-green glow is the only other light and stays thin and close to the cracks and her skin.

AUDIO. Grit under heavy feet, a chain dragging, wind in the empty stands, the single drop, a deep low pressure hum once the glow spreads, the giants' shouts and roars muffled as if underwater with bubbling, shattering bronze, stone cracking, the rush of the current, buckling metal, the crash of the real water, draining water, one last drop. Spoken audio is only the three lines written in their shots above, each said once, one voice at a time. NO MUSIC OF ANY KIND. No subtitles, no on-screen text, no logo, no watermark, no narration.

STYLE. Live-action realism, real skin texture, sweat and dust on the giants, desaturated night palette, subtle film grain, natural motion blur on her fast movements.

POSITIVE CONSTRAINTS. Exactly seven people appear: THE EMPRESS and the six giant warriors from @ {{Mixed 2}} , all human, all about three metres tall. Nobody else. She has no spear and holds no weapon at any point. Nothing resets between shots: broken axes stay broken, fallen giants stay down, her floating hair stays floating until SHOT 11. In every attack her chest faces the giant attacking her. One camera, one continuous photograph per shot: no split screens, no panels, no insets. Real time throughout.
