SCENE CONTEXT: an ancient coastal fortress at dusk — a long pale stone wall with the open sea behind it and a vast flat plain in front of it. An army of ten thousand bronze-age soldiers is storming the wall. THE DANCER comes alone. She gallops in across the plain riding a unicorn made of living flame, stops the army at the gate, then presses her palm to the earth and raises a forty-metre LAVA GOLEM out of the ground, which sweeps the army off the plain and sends it running. She enjoys every second of it. Live-action realism, 30 seconds, one location, twelve timed shots, hard cuts on action, real time, no slow motion.
ACTIVE REFERENCES
@ {{Mixed 1}} defines THE DANCER — face, long red hair with fringe, teal drop earrings, knotted orange top, coin hip belt with teal sash, long orange-to-red pleated skirt, gold bracelets, gold anklets, bare feet. Not its white background or pose. She is barefoot the whole clip and her eyes keep their own natural colour.
@ {{Mixed 2}} defines THE PLACE — the long crenellated pale stone wall, its two square gate towers, the sea right behind the wall, the wide flat brown plain in front. Geometry, materials and dusk light only; the reference is empty, in our film it holds the people below. One change: the gate between the towers is a pair of heavy dark wooden doors bound with bronze bands, not bars.
HER CHARACTER. A relaxed, playful troublemaker. She treats the battle like a game she is winning: loose shoulders, a smile always half there, unhurried even at full gallop. She never looks afraid or strained.
THE ARMY. About ten thousand soldiers in bronze helmets and leather armour with round bronze shields and spears. They fill the plain to the horizon as a loose, uneven crowd: every man moves at his own pace, shoving, climbing, stumbling over the fallen and pushing on. Wooden ladders lean on the wall; two wooden siege towers roll toward it. THE COMMANDER rides a dark horse among them: bearded, crested bronze helmet, red cloak. Soldiers are never shown one by one being hurt; they are swept away, knocked back, and finally run.
THE FIRE UNICORN. A unicorn of real flame — horse silhouette, one spiral horn, burning mane and tail, no facial detail — its body is moving fire, embers and heat shimmer, never a smooth glowing shape. It gallops at the real speed of a racing horse, about fifty kilometres an hour, and every hoofprint leaves a small fire burning on the earth.
THE LAVA GOLEM (no reference image — built from this text only). A humanoid colossus of volcanic rock about forty metres tall: a crust of cracked black basalt plates with every seam glowing molten orange from within, a deep vertical chest fissure showing its molten core, a jagged head with two sunken ember eyes and a horizontal jaw fissure kept shut. No facial features beyond that. Enormous slow mass; lava drips from its joints and hisses on the ground. SCALE, told by the things around it, in every shot it appears: the top of the fifteen-metre fortress wall reaches only its knee; one of its feet is as big as a siege tower; THE DANCER standing beside it is no taller than one of its toes. It never shrinks and never vanishes; it is still standing alive at the end of the clip.
COLOUR. Desaturated cool blue-grey dusk on stone, earth, sea and soldiers. The only strong colour is orange — her fire, the unicorn, the golem's molten seams — and the light they throw on faces and armour.
DIALOGUE. This film has exactly two spoken lines, both by THE DANCER, each written inside its shot and heard once only, with no echo or repeat. Nobody else speaks; THE COMMANDER only screams without words. No other piece of direction text, however short, is ever read aloud. The dancer's voice is low, soft and unhurried, with a smile held just under the words.
ACTION TIMING
[00.0-03.0] SHOT 1 — Ground-level tracking shot racing alongside her: THE FIRE UNICORN gallops across the open strip of plain between the wall and the oncoming army, about fifty kilometres an hour. Charging soldiers rush past in the foreground blur; she is sharp, sitting sideways on its burning back, one hand in the flaming mane, laughing. Burning hoofprints trail behind. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[03.0-05.0] SHOT 2 — FIXED POSITION: behind the back of the crowd at a soldier's head height, the camera completely still; helmets and spear tips of the nearest soldiers are dark silhouettes along the bottom of the frame, the wall and gate across the middle. THE FIRE UNICORN rears in front of the gate and skids to a stop, its burning hooves cutting a half-circle of fire into the earth. The front of the army halts at that line of fire. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[05.0-06.5] SHOT 3 — Close-up on her face, mouth centred, the unicorn's mane burning at the frame edge: still on its back, she lets her eyes travel over the endless army and smiles. She says: "All this... for me?"
[06.5-09.0] SHOT 4 — Low wide from the army's side: THE COMMANDER swings his sword down and the army surges at her again, shouting, each man at his own pace. She slides off the unicorn and her bare feet touch the earth; the unicorn bursts into a shower of embers that sink into the cracks of the ground. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[09.0-11.0] SHOT 5 — Close on her face as she sinks to one knee, mouth in frame: "Let's make it fair." Then a macro of her open palm pressing flat on the dry earth: the soil splits around her fingers and orange light races outward along the cracks.
[11.0-15.0] SHOT 6 — Low frontal on her, the camera pulling steadily back and up for the whole shot: behind her the ground tears open in every direction, lava wells up, and a colossal shape rises out of it. As the camera keeps pulling back the size is revealed — THE LAVA GOLEM standing at full height, the fortress wall reaching only its knee, THE DANCER tiny at its feet, no taller than its toe. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[15.0-18.0] SHOT 7 — The same FIXED POSITION as SHOT 2, the camera completely still: only the golem's lower legs and one giant arm are in frame. The arm sweeps flat across the plain at knee height and hurls hundreds of the nearest soldiers backward through the air, shields and spears flying. Only the lane the arm passes through is cleared; the soldiers on either side are still there. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[18.0-20.0] SHOT 8 — Ground level beneath a siege tower, looking up, the camera completely still: a burning fist as big as the tower comes down from above and smashes it apart; timber and lava drops burst in every direction. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[20.0-22.0] SHOT 9 — Low symmetrical close-up of THE COMMANDER on his rearing horse, facing the golem: orange light on his face and helmet, the crest of his helmet smouldering in the heat; he screams without words. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[22.0-25.0] SHOT 10 — Low wide at the golem's feet, the camera completely still, only its feet and fists in frame: it slams both fists into the ground. Lava cracks race out across the plain in a fan beneath the army and the earth bursts upward along them, throwing the remaining crowd back as far as the middle of the plain, no farther. The men beyond turn and run toward the horizon. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[25.0-28.0] SHOT 11 — Medium on THE DANCER sitting in the golem's open palm, held up high, the golem's glowing fingers curled around her: she looks after the fleeing army, touches her fingertips to her lips and blows them a kiss. Nobody speaks in this shot.
[28.0-30.0] SHOT 12 — Crane rising and pulling far back into the air: the plain scored with glowing lava cracks, scattered shields and spears, a smoking wrecked siege tower, the army a scatter of tiny running figures on the horizon. In the middle the golem still stands, alive, its seams glowing, the tiny dancer sitting in its hand. Nobody speaks in this shot.
PHYSICS. The golem has enormous weight: every step and blow shakes the ground and the camera. Lava is thick and heavy, cools dark at its edges and hisses where it lands. Thrown soldiers, shields and timber fall with real weight and stay where they land. Fire is real flame with heat shimmer, moving light, embers and smoke; smoke never hides the action. Fire never burns her.
AUDIO. The roar of ten thousand voices; fire hooves drumming and crackling; the hiss of the fire line in the earth; earth splitting; lava bubbling; a deep groaning rumble as the golem rises; the whoosh of the sweeping arm, metal and screams flying; timber exploding; a wordless scream and a horse whinnying; a ground-shaking double impact; the earth bursting; scattered fleeing footsteps; wind. Only the two quoted lines are spoken. No background music — keep only diegetic and ambient sound. No score, song, drums or instruments. No subtitles, no on-screen text, no logo, no watermark, no narration.
STYLE. Live-action realism, desaturated dusk palette with orange as the single accent colour, subtle film grain, natural motion blur.
POSITIVE CONSTRAINTS. One dancer, one fire unicorn until it dissolves in SHOT 4, one lava golem from SHOT 6 to the end. Nobody ever looks into the lens. One camera, one continuous photograph per shot: no split screens, panels or insets.
