Geometry, materials and daylight only — not its camera angle or composition. The reference is empty; here three people are in it. Do not enlarge or redesign the arena. defines ONE round bronze shield — shape, size, spiral rim, green center stone — strapped to Kirdo's LEFT forearm over his bracer for the whole clip, worn, never held. Use only the shield, not the arm, glove or background in that image. Live-action sparring in a sunlit palace arena. A newly arrived, beautiful dancer who commands fire through dance is beating Kirdo, a superhumanly fast and strong young warrior, until he nearly lands one; the Empress lounges above and enjoys it. LOCATION MAP — holds for the whole clip World anchors: THE GLASS WALL — the teal stained-glass wall with the arched gateway; THE POOL — the shallow pool along its foot; THE TERRACE — the raised lounge-throne on the opposite side of the arena; THE SEATING — the stepped seating along one side. The DANCER holds the open floor near the arena's center. KIRDO fights on the GLASS WALL side of her. The EMPRESS reclines on THE TERRACE, behind the dancer's side, above the floor, and never leaves it. LATERAL setup: camera low on the floor in front of THE SEATING, looking across the fight — the dancer on screen-LEFT facing screen-right; Kirdo, THE GLASS WALL and THE POOL on screen-RIGHT, Kirdo facing screen-left; THE TERRACE beyond screen-left. Every lateral shot keeps this and never flips it. Two reverse setups are over a shoulder and are named where used: over Kirdo's shoulder onto the dancer (shot 3), and over the dancer's shoulder onto Kirdo (shot 7). In those two, the person nearest the lens shows their back and faces the other. The dancer's chest and hips turn toward Kirdo, and his chest, hips and planted feet turn toward her, for the whole fight — even while he is thrown backward. Nobody ever looks at or speaks to the camera. FIRST FRAME Occupied immediately: the camera is already racing inside a surge of flame, already at full speed. 0-1.5 — SHOT 1, THE SURGE. Macro camera riding inside a roaring surge of fire at its own speed, embers streaking past the lens, tiny flickering wing shapes along its edges <rushing fire>. Ahead, a round bronze shield rushes up to fill the frame and the flame smashes into its face <a dull bronze ring>. No source is seen. 1.5-4.5 — SHOT 2, THE WALL. Hard cut on the impact to a wide lateral shot, the camera already whipping right at his speed and locked onto him. Kirdo on screen-right, shield raised on his left forearm, is driven back by the fire splitting around the shield — it never touches his body. His boots carve two grinding grooves in the stone, then his feet leave the floor and he is hurled backward, still facing screen-left, into THE GLASS WALL between a teal panel and the gateway <heavy impact>. The camera stops hard with him. Only after the hit do cracks race outward from his back and dust bursts off the stone. He drops onto the rim of THE POOL on one knee. The shield face is scorched black and smoking, its rim dented at one spot; soot marks his cheek. 4.5-6.5 — SHOT 3, THE SOURCE. Hard cut: low over Kirdo's shoulder onto the far end of the arena. Two smoking grooves and a black scorch trail run away from him across the empty floor, and at their far end stands the one who sent the fire — the DANCER, small in the heat haze, her right arm still extended as the last flame curls back into her palm. Her hair and the shimmer hide her face. 6.5-9.5 — SHOT 4, THE TEASE. Hard cut. Camera low on the arena floor below THE TERRACE, looking up at the Empress in a three-quarter medium close-up, the dome light behind her. She reclines on the lounge-throne, chin propped on one hand, eyes lowered across the arena to Kirdo, a slow amused smile. At 6.5 seconds, low and lazy, teasing, to Kirdo: {Weren't you going to go easy on her?} At 8 seconds Kirdo's voice comes from off-screen across the arena — voice only, earnest and breathless: {She's very... hot,} While he speaks her lips stay closed; on the word "hot" one eyebrow rises slowly and the smile tightens at one corner. 9.5-11.5 — SHOT 5, THE ANSWER. Hard cut to a lateral medium shot of Kirdo on the pool rim, THE GLASS WALL cracked behind him. He slaps the dust off his shoulders and pushes up from one knee to standing, chest and hips still turned toward the dancer on screen-left, and only his head tilts up toward THE TERRACE as he finishes the same sentence on screen, sincere and a little dazed: {Your Majesty.} 11.5-15 — SHOT 6, THE SWARM. Wide lateral shot, the two small at opposite edges, empty stone between. The dancer begins a flowing dance, her face calm and quietly delighted, eyes on Kirdo — wrists circling, arms sweeping wide and low, bangles and coins chiming with every sweep <chiming gold>. Each sweep releases a flight of fire-butterflies that pours across the floor at Kirdo like a burning blizzard; where they strike the stone near him they burst in small bright pops <crackling bursts>. Kirdo crouches behind the raised shield, the swarm breaking over it, forced back a step, then another. 15-20 — SHOT 7, THE BREAKTHROUGH. Hard cut to low over the dancer's shoulder onto Kirdo inside the swarm. He drops his head behind the shield and charges straight into the fire. Butterflies burst against the shield and his shoulders in showers of sparks and he does not slow — one blurred body tearing across the empty floor, dust and sparks falling at normal speed behind him. He bursts out of the swarm right in front of her and throws a straight RIGHT punch. She snaps back from the waist a split second late; the fist misses her face by a finger's width and tears through her hip sash — the string snaps and gold coins spray through the air <scattering coins>. The wind of the blow whips her hair and skirt sideways; she stumbles half a step back with a sharp gasp. Kirdo, still facing her, grins. 20-25 — SHOT 8, THE UNICORN. Camera low on the floor between the dancer and THE SEATING, a step forward of her, so she fills the screen-left foreground in three-quarter view, looking screen-right at Kirdo in the background on screen-right. She turns the stumble into a backward spinning leap that opens the distance, and out of the spin a unicorn of living fire bursts from her sweeping arms and leaps between them — a horse silhouette of flame with one spiral horn and a burning mane, no facial detail. It gallops a full circle around Kirdo; its hoofprints rise into a tall ring of fire that encloses him, and he turns inside it, searching for a gap. As the ring closes the unicorn bursts into butterflies. At 23 seconds she lands and the camera holds her face in its first close view, lit by the firelight: breath still quick from the near miss, a sheen of sweat, amber eyes fixed on Kirdo inside the ring, and slowly a calm, faint smile returns. 25-27 — SHOT 9, THE FLICK. The Empress on THE TERRACE, same low angle as shot 4. Still smiling, she lifts one finger and flicks it once toward the arena. 27-30 — SHOT 10, THE DOUSING. Wide lateral shot. A heavy clear column of water heaves up out of THE POOL on screen-right, arcs over Kirdo and crashes onto the ring <crashing water>; the fire dies in hissing steam and the last butterflies scatter to smoke. Water runs across the stone and THE POOL sits visibly lower. Kirdo stands soaked in the scorched, wet circle, blinking, water dripping from his hair and blackened shield. The fight over, the dancer turns her body toward THE TERRACE and gives a small graceful bow. END STATE: Kirdo soaked in the circle on screen-right, the dancer bowing toward the terrace on screen-left, her sash hanging loose with coins scattered on the wet floor, steam drifting, floor grooves and wall cracks still there. FIRE Every flame is born from a movement of hers — a sweep, a spin, a turn of the wrist — leaves her palms, fingertips or hem, acts, then breaks into small fire-butterflies that fade to embers and smoke. A butterfly bursts when it strikes something. Fire never appears on its own and never burns her skin, hair or sheer skirt. Real heat shimmer and moving light, no graphic outlines. MOTION AND PHYSICS Kirdo's speed is physical: push-off, visible travel, braking arrival — no teleporting, afterimages, light trails or electricity. Stone breaks only where something strikes it, after contact. The dancer is graceful in every movement: pointed feet, weight soft on the balls of her feet, floating arms, skirt and hair following half a beat late. Loose coins fall with real weight and bounce on stone. Water has weight, splash and runoff. AUDIO Ambience: open-air echo of the stone arena, fire crackle. The rhythm of her dance comes from her bangles and coins. Spoken audio is only the quoted words, in that order, one voice at a time — Kirdo's sentence starts off-screen and ends on screen; the dancer never speaks. Exactly three named people appear — the EMPRESS, KIRDO and the DANCER. THE SEATING stays empty. Real time throughout — no slow motion, no speed ramps, no freeze frames. No subtitles, no on-screen text, no logo, no watermark. No background music of any kind.
